The Scandinavian Children's Mission

Scandinavian Children´s Mission was founded in the year 1983 in Sweden. Annually
more than 300,000 children in the Philippines and the Ukraine receive various kinds
of aid through the Scandinavina Children´s Mission.

Scandinavian Children´s Mission has been one of ABC’s ministry partners since
1990. In association with Scandinavian Children´s Mission and with the help of ABC
supporters, today nearly 600 children from poor families in the Philippines receive
an opportunity of education.

Reach (Rural Education and Compassionate Helps)

Reach (Rural Education and Compassionate Helps) was established by Samuel
Motupalli of India, a christian man with a heart for distressed and needy children.
Reach operates the “Little Lights Orphanage” in India, with financial support from
ABC Iceland.

Wycliffe Bible Translators

Wycliffe Bible Translators was the first ministry partner of ABC. Through this
association ABC participated in its first literacy projects. ABC paid for the
printing of teaching and reading books in the indigenous languages of two Mexican
tribes (the Popoloco Atzingo and Jalapa Mazatec), and also the language of the
Nyaboa people from Ivory Coast., West Africa.

The Uganda Australia Foundation

The Uganda Australia Foundation was founded in the year 1991 by Trudy and
Francis Odida. Trudy is from Australia and Francis from Uganda. They have
established and build up an extensive aid ministry which takes care of thousands of
children. Their main focus has been to help AID´S (HIV) victims, orphans and poor
children to attend school.

ABC has been a ministry partner of the Uganda Australia Foundation since 1993.
Today ABC Children’s Aid supports about 1300 children in Uganda through this
partnership.

Mission of Mercy

Mission of Mercy was established in 1954 by the missonaries Mark and Huldah
Buntain, who began to show mercy to the poor and needy in Calcutta, India. Today
Mission of Mercy operates in over 30 nations and more than 75,000 children
receive help and hope through their ministry.

ABC has been a ministry partner with Mission of Mercy since 1991. ABC has
participated in building two small orphanages, one in Cambodia and the other in the
Orissa region in India. Also ABC supporters have also been involved in the financial
support of children in some Mission of Mercy projects.

Comforter Ministries

Comforter Ministries was founded in India by Eva Alexander to help girls in
trouble and prostitutes. Subsequently, the El Shaddai children’s home was founded in
1995.
